D Raja: AAP's attitude after Patna meet "Not a setback for Opposition unity"

Patna: The Aam Aadmi Party has sounded a discordant note over the Patna conference, but CPI general secretary D Raja has maintained that this is "not a setback" for Opposition unity, and that there can be "small angularities" on specific subjects between independent political groups, but that these are being resolved.

He added that the Opposition bloc's leadership was not a pressing concern at the moment, but that the BJP was bringing it up out of fear for the outcome of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Raja told that the secular democratic parties that have joined together are capable of making a resolution on any matter "collectively" following the key gathering of 15 Opposition parties here.—Inputs from Agencies
